Publications & Print Materials
For well-over half its history, St. Clare’s operated an in-house print shop. Almost from the start, home-grown invitations, staff bulletins and other forms of creative communications began to appear. Over time, mimeograph machines gave way to commercial printing presses and, with the advent of desktop publishing in the mid-1980s, an in-house agency evolved. Under the auspices of Corporate Communications, a wide array of newsletters, patient education materials, direct mail, billboards, print ads and broadcast media were developed.
St. Clare’s website, introduced in the 1990s, was also the product of in-house talent, and has been administered and maintained cooperatively by Information Services and Corporate Communications.
